2025 Anzac Day Tours

Burma-Thailand Railway - 1 Day 2025 Anzac Day at Hellfire Pass

  • This tour is a great opportunity for anyone with limited time in Bangkok but who wants to attend an Anzac Day Service. Travel to Hellfire Pass in good time to join the very emotional Anzac Day Dawn Service. Meet other Anzac Day travellers at the Gunfire Breakfast before visiting Kanchanaburi War Cemetery and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Have brunch at the Floating Restaurant beside the bridge.

2024 Australian Tours

Atherton Tablelands - Half Day WWII Historical Tour

8:30am, Wednesday mornings - July / August 2024

Discover a little-known aspect of Australia’s involvement in WWII and at the same time, you will be supporting a worthwhile local community project and the local branch of the National Servicemen’s Association of Australia, Queensland.

Visit some of the sites where over 100,000 troops from the 6th, 7th and 9th Australian Divisions (2nd AIF) trained in preparation for the campaigns in New Guinea and beyond, against the Japanese. Expert commentary from a local WWII historian will bring to life, those dark days.

The food, Accommodation, the sites were simply amazing!   • The best travel experience I've ever had

    This was without a doubt the best travel experience I've ever had in more than 30 years of travelling overseas. My family and I did the ANZAC 3 day tour in Thailand around sites significant to the Thai Burma railway and we are so glad to have done it with Historic War Tours.     My sister & I joined the three-day Thailand Burma Railway tour for Anzac Day 2023 and it was phenomenal! John, Dan & Sam organised the best tour ever! The bus driver was amazing, Sam the tour guide was excellent. The accommodation was absolutely breathtaking and the meals were so good.

    So much effort was put into the organising of this tour and the price for everything that is included is outstanding! I am hopeful to join again sometime. We had the best time ever, loved every minute!!

    We took part in the 2023 ANZAC Tour - Burma-Thailand Railway. John and Dan are a wealth of knowledge and information and this was offered freely to everyone on the tour. John, Dan and Samantha could not do enough to help people on the tour (this was before and during the tour).

    The tour included a good mix of sites of interest to visit during the 3 day 2 nights and allowed ample time at each venue for people to explore. The accommodation and food options offered was second to none. Well done to all involved in organising. We thoroughly recommend this tour to everyone.
